Driven by quality and a hands-on approach, Hollick wines are made from three core vineyards. Neilson's Block, planted by Ian and Wendy in 1975, the nearby Wilgha vineyard, purchased in 1987 and the Wrattonbully Vineyard developed in 1998, giving Hollick over 200 acres of vineyard in total. Eighty percent is planted to red varieties, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Shiraz, Pinot Noir, Sangiovese and Petit Verdot. The balance of the vineyards are planted to the white varieties of Chardonnay, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon.

Hollick Gold at Royal QLD Wine Show

lay down csc label  cap shot mainHollick Estates is thrilled to announce the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon ov was awarded a gold medal at the 2016 Queensland Royal Food & Wine Show. The formal presentations were held at the Brisbane Showgrounds on Thursday the 8th of July.

The 2014 Cabernet was up against a very strong field of competition, scoring an outstanding 95 points to win. This wine, although yet to be publically released, is already displaying an elegant palate of classic Coonawarra cassis flavours.

Hollick Winemaker Joe Cory and Vineyard Manager Stuey Sharam are estatic to have achieved this result amongst such a strong line up.
